The need
When employees use their own car for company business they will often pose a greater organisational risk - divorced from the company car scheme and to a large degree outside of your control. Do you have the facilities and process in place to fulfil your duty of care requirements and health & safety obligations?
It is your duty to confirm that the employee holds valid insurance (particularly insurance covering the employee for business use) and that the employee's vehicle has a valid MOT certificate.
The solution
With this in mind, we have developed the Q1TM - an insurance and MOT declaration whereby details are captured and verified by way of driver self-certification.
The information is then reported against the individual employee, together with their licence details. Developed in a modular format and supported by a full reporting structure (similar to that of our licence checking) it gives you a single access point for information relating to any particular driver.
